Wearing a patina of cement dust, Harbor Rail Services GP38-2 3007 is one of several leased EMD GPs found at the TXI Cement Plant in Oro Grande, California. HRSX 3007 is ex-Progress Rail (PRLX) 5059, ex-Norfolk Southern 5059, nee-Southern Railway 5059. Built with a high short hood, this GP got a “nose job” by Progress Rail to make them more appealing on the lease market.
