On the final day of 2019, BPRR Salamanca - Riker train (SIRI) has former Southern Pacific SD45T-2, now GEXR 3054 leading the consist of 4 SD type locomotives. The train is seen here passing a turned B&O CPL signal at the south end of Bradford. While most of the ex B&O signals remain on the line, only a few are still active as the railroad is run on the track warrant system. After hearing about 3054 leading SIRI the previous evening, my father and I made the 2.5-hour drive from Rochester to Salamanca in the early hours of NYE to intercept the train as it started its journey. Needless to say it was quite a fitting end to the decade.
