| Action at the Rocket House! As a couple MP36’s make way out of the shops at 47th Street, NIRC SW1200 #3 goes about its duty as the shop's switcher, while NIRC SW1 #2 waits for its next assignment. #3 was built as the MILW 2048 in November of 1954 and #2 was built as the IC 9025 in June of 1946. Aside from SW1 #1, they are the two oldest locomotives on Metra's roster. |
