| In 1992, some express trains were also still operated with older BLS rolling stock. Here train no. 2524 Bern-Basel on Whit Sunday, 7 June 1992 at Wyssenried, near Herzogenbuchsee. This section of the line was dismounted after the new built line Mattstetten-Rothrist was put into service.
