| "Farewell Queens Tower"
New York & Atlantic Railway's RS-41 with EMD GP38-2 #261, heads west past Long Island Rail Road's Queens Tower in Queens Village on the Main Line. On January 10th, 2020 at 23:59hrs, Queens Tower was closed and control shifted to LIRR's Jamaica Center Control. This is the first tower outside of the Jamaica area to be shifted. Others will soon follow. |
