Remarks & Notes

A rather old and weathered looking SP 6817 leads an eastbound manifest train out of Bakersfield as it passes under the classic SP signal near Sandcut. Soon, the SP 6817 will be in run 8 as the train works up the steep mountains grades in Tehachapi Pass.
