| We're stopped on the FORD TRAIN at what looks like the east side of Watertown,Wi….the DS was probably single tracking west of town and we would stop here so no public crossings would be blocked. The Ford train was usually over a mile long su you had to pick your parking spots carefully.In this photo we only have two SD's so our speed would probably have been around 35 or 40mph with a tail wind.....when you had three SD's THAT's when you could REALLY GO! If the DS new he could depend on you to run um most times he'd run you all the way to Portage from Milwaukee with NO delays...…... |
