Remarks & Notes
The unloading process at Bonanza is finished and 3 of Deseret Power Railway’s E-60 electrics are pulling its empty train around the loop track to head back to the Deserado Mine loader in Colorado. I took this photo in 2011. Now, over 8 years later, the Black Mesa & Lake Powell in Arizona is abandoned. This leaves the Deseret Power Ry. as the last electric, heavy haul freight railroad in the USA.
