Remarks & Notes
The run up hill Missionary Ridge local train #100 is making it's way up the south leg of the wye at Grand Jct. after a late return from East Chattanooga on the 2pm schedule round trip. You can almost hear the sound of the ex: US Army GP7L as it work hard to drag the trio of heavyweight passenger cars up hill. Once the train clears the switch, the train will shove back on the north leg of the wye, and face westbound at the depot so passenger can detrain, and the crew can get ready for the late 3:30pm trip.
