The year is 2018. How many places can you go to see a CF7, leading doublestacks, on a double track class one mainline past an Amtrak station?
Not many, as far as I'm aware.
CSX Z103-27 slowly grinds along past the Savannah Amtrak station with 50 or so cars to take to the Georgia Port Authority's Garden City Terminal. This train runs several times a day, bringing cars to and from the Port and CSX's Savannah Yard.
The CF7 was scrapped in late December 2018-January 2019.
