| Snow has been hard to come by so far this winter. So with a snow storm overnight and a rare 3 westbounds out of Dubuque morning, we setout for the morning to do some Dubuque Sub action. An empty grain train bound for Ida Grove swings and drops downgrade around the curves at Winthrop about 30 miles from Waterloo. The train is 1 of 6 trains that would pass between Dubuque and Waterloo in daylight on a rare busy Saturday. |
