While the New York Container Terminal's regular engine is off the island being serviced, Morristown & Erie Railway 2354 (MP15DC, ex-Norfolk Southern 2354, née Southern Railway 2354) is filling the role. NYCT uses this engine to assemble its trains of containers and refuse cars for transfer to the Conrail Arlington Yard in Howland Hook, Staten Island, NY as seen here crossing Western Avenue on Monday, January 27, 2020.
