On Monday, February 17, Pan Am Southern detour train 11R-17 is seen downgrade from the summit of the Green Mountains at Mt. Holly, Vermont. The 98-car (36Lx62E, 6700-ton) detour run is led by VTR GP40-2L 310, GP40-2 303, MEC 5973, 5966, 5948, and 5967 from Riverside Yard in Rockingham, VT, where the VTR locos were added to the arriving PAS train for the trip over the 2% grade of the GMRC.
