Rush Hour in Redding. On a hot summer afternoon, the UP Valley Subdivision has come alive in Redding. The UP 1448 has just set out its train (the 'Redding Turn') and is now headed for the barn. UP 1089, one of the last remaining patched Cotton Belt units, is on the headend of the 'Night Redding' Local. It will work into the late evening hours, servicing the many industries located around Redding.
