Remarks & Notes

Random encounter of two generations of Stadler regional trains. The articulated lowfloor "GTW" (Gelenktriebwagen) RABe 526 # 794 of the Thurbo is running as S10 service 12051 from Wil (SG) via Weinfelden to Romanshorn, while the brand new "Flirt 3" RABe 523 # 101 from StadlerRail for the SBB is on a test run from Romanshorn to Sulgen, along the pond at Riedt near Erlen. The SBB gets 14 of this 75 meter long commuter trains for the RER Vaud (S-Bahn system in canton Vaud, around Lausanne).
