A Santa Fe intermodal “Q train” heads south through Sedalia on February 24, 1988. The train is operating on Colorado’s Joint Line running south from Denver to Pueblo. These two rail routes operated directionally were owned by Rio Grande and Santa Fe, with Colorado & Southern (later, Burlington Northern) having trackage rights.
