The incredible Bernina Railway, here in the Montebello-Corner. It took me 30 years to travel there, absolutely don't know why!
Really one of the most fantastic and epic lines in the world and the home of Wolfgang Hildesheimer, who lived in Poschiavo and was portrayed by Roman Brodmann in 1984.
The two men's thoughts were farsighted and are more relevant today than ever before, only they are no longer heard.
Brodmann presented the company in the middle of the 80s of the last millennium in view of the many crises and progress:
"We say goodbye to the Bernina Express at its biggest number, where it shows a complete volte in a very small space (...) The miracle of technology that was already possible in the 19th century and that we prefer it more than ever today is probably due to the fact that it is manageable miracles. But our kids play on the railroad and I think they know why!"
