Remarks & Notes
Norfolk and Western SD9 2349 was built as Nickel Plate Road 349, ultimatley becoming Norfolk Southern 52. It was repainted into N&W colors to honor the late Dale Elder, who was Bellevue's Terminal Superintendent for Norfolk Southern for many years but originally hired on with the N&W. It is preseved today in the Mad River & NKP Railroad Museum in Bellevue, OH.

A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
