Soo Line GP38-2 4418 hides most, but not all of the patch work on GP40 no. 2018, a former MILW unit. the two units are at Superior, WI with the old Soo Line roundhouse peeking out in the background. Soo Line while not the busiest of the Twin Ports carriers, had the most lines fanning out of the ports. This was due to SOO ownership of DSS&A, Wis. Central (1st one), their own lines, and MILW acquisition. Lines went east to Sault Ste. Marie, ON, south to Chicago, down to the Twin Cities, west to Glenwood, MN, and northwest to North Dakota and Winnipeg (CP).
