CEFX 1005 leads a Lake Superior & Ishpeming mine run through a cut and sharp curve at Eagle Mills Jct., just west of Eagle Mills, MI. The train will do work at Tilden Mine and later tie up back at Eagle Mills. At this time the railroad was running two simultaneous morning and afternoon crews between Eagle Mills and the mine, with most traffic headed to their Presque Isle ore Dock, but a train load a day of all rail taconite pellets for interchange with CN as well.
