Remarks & Notes
This one took a little detective work since I didn't have my father's slide handy. This picture was taken from a bridge that no longer exists of a railroad that no longer exists (including the tracks). My father was standing on the South Jackson Street overpass which crossed both the Lehigh Valley and the PC, former NYC, Water Level Route. The Batavia station on the Water Level Route is visible near the top of this picture as is the Lehigh Valley station at the top, right of this picture. Both of the stations are gone today as well. The building to the left is still in place today, and was a key clue for identifying the location of this picture. R.T. Steinbrenner Photo
