Remarks & Notes 
For decades, an engine change at South Amboy, NJ, was a ritual for New York & Long Branch/North Jersey Coast Line trains headed to or from Penn Station. Once the crew conference is complete the Penn Central E8s that brought this train north from Bay Head Junction will pull ahead and the waiting GG1 will couple on to head north.
