Remarks & Notes
Intercity push-pull train 10714 (714) of the line IC 1 from St.Gallen via Zürich-Bern-Lausanne to Geneva Airport, between Winterthur and Winterthur Tössmühle. Leading is cab car Bt, followed by 6 second class standard cars type IV/or Bpm, dining car WR (which is closed today), 3 first class standard cars type A IV, then a first class/service car AS and locomotive Re 460 # 119 shoving in the rear. This is the last day in Switzerland with the public transport in "full swing". In connection with the corona crisis and the partial shutdown of public life, the timetable will be gradually thinned out from Thursday 19th March 2020 in several steps. Instead of every half an hour, express trains will only run every hour, in regional traffic where it is currently a quarter hourly service will be reduced to half an hourly service, and traffic to neighbouring countries will be completely discontinued. Tourist lines and offers were already cancelled a few days ago. Bus companies throughout Switzerland will also reduce the timetable accordingly. This is the first time that the timetable will not be expanded but reduced.
