The sun has just begun to peak over the local mountains as Metrolink 106, the last inbound train to Los Angeles from Ventura for the morning, makes like a bandit out of Oxnard for its next stop of Camarillo. Providing for the four-car commuter train this morning is a venerable F59PHI, no doubt soon to be replaced by the newer, EMD F125 units.
