| JR-Central and JR-West run the 16 car 700-0 and -3000 series trains respectively for Tokaido.Sanyo Shinkansen since 1999. At the moment only a few scheduled services on Tokaido Shinkansen are operated by 700 series. Most trains have already scrapped in recent years, the remaining trains will be completely withdrawn in 2020. |
