Remarks & Notes
Seen from the vestibule of the private car Silver Splendor, an ex-CBQ dome car beautifully restored by the Caestecker family, southbound Pacific Surfliner train No. 1790 holds the main at Waldorf as Amtrak 14, the northbound Coast Starlight, slides by on the main. The freshly-washed windows of the Splendor help the reflection of the AMTK 177 look crisp as the 2001-built product of GE leads the Seattle-bound train by.
