Dakota, Missouri Valley & Western’s “corn train” rounds the horseshoe curve south (east) of Merida, North Dakota, on August 29, 2018. The empty train has recently departed Blue Flint Ethanol located on the spur from Coal Creek Junction and is headed south on the Missouri Valley Subdivision. It will then go east at Bismarck and travel on DMVW’s Dakota Subdivision where it will be reloaded at two different elevators.
