At the end of a long day of shooting on a Lerro Productions two day event on the C&TS, we set up for a star shot. With 2-8-2 #489 (today lettered for the long-since scrapped #485) posed on the trestle over the old Hwy 17. This is about a 30 second exposure. The crew shut the dynamo down, and then late in the exposure, brought it back up again so the lights wouldn't burn. It's late, cold, pitch black on uneven ground and crew time running out. Are we having fun? You betcha!
