Remarks & Notes
Alexandria Traffic Jam

Its a busy time near the passenger station in Alexandria, Virginia. A Southern Railway excursion powered by 2-10-4 610 has unloaded its passengers, and is slowly backing out of the station while a Richmond, Fredericksburg & Potomac train waits to depart. Meanwhile, the Southern Crescent has appeared to make its station stop. Its amazing how tolerant the Class 1 railroads were of railfans milling around active tracks.
