It wasn't unusual for new SP power to pass through Silvis on it's way west. This GP40X caught my eye one day as I was headed home from work at the Silvis shop. I had my camera with me however the shot had a problem. The unit was under the sand tower. So I went to the "mini pit" office to ask the foreman if he could have the hostler move it for me. The foreman and the hostler were both in the office when I made my request. They looked at each other and finally one of them said "You know how to move it do it your self." COOL! I don't think my feet touched the ground all the way back to the 7201. Of the total miles on the 7201 when it was retired I had 100 feet of it.
