Remarks & Notes
An Amtrak train passes a Norfolk Southern (yellow) DC to AC SD70 conversion locomotive that occupies the largely vacant yard along the Northeast Corridor in Linden, NJ. The main purpose of this sizable yard was for serving the General Motors Assembly Plant until it closed in 2005. The yard is now mostly abandoned, but is sometimes occupied by NS for its oil trains in Linden.
