The Soo Line local from L’Anse, Michigan has arrived at Marquette on a beautiful August morning. The train, based at Marquette, made the round trip over the former DSS&A three times a week. Another job went to a connection with the Sault Ste. Marie line at Trout lake with similar frequency. Today, the tracks are gone and the ROW is a rail trail.
