This unusual RS3/GP9B pairing was assigned as a hump switcher at Penn Central's ex-New Haven Cedar Hill Yard in New Haven, CT, where they rested among assorted other power. Not long after this photo was taken, PC brought in an ex-PRR Alco RSD15 to cover this job.
