| Record-breakingly long parcel post train 50972 on Easter Monday with 23 Lgnss cars and a train length of almost 400 metres. Pulling is Re 620 # 007 (Re 6/6 # 11607) "Wattwil" between Winterthur and Winterthur Tössmühle. The train ran from the Frauenfeld parcel sort center via Härkingen (parcel sort center for the middle of Switzerland) to Daillens parcel sort center for the western part of Switzerland. The journey is about 4 1/2 hours with a maximum velocity of 120 km/h. |
