| NS H76 has road power leading its local back west to Allentown, PA. On the rear is mother-slug NS 3039 (GP40-2; former CR 3348) and NS 736 (RP-E4C; repurposed slug unit from GP38AC NS 2838; née SOU 2838). The lead unit is no longer in service for Norfolk Southern and was put up for sale by late 2020. In March of 2021, it was sold to Progress Rail. The mother-slug set was listed as stored a few years after this photo was taken. |
