Single Stacked a single year ago. A derailment the previous evening at Wyomissing Junction, PA caused a number of detours to occur on Wednesday, April 17, 2019. Amongst these, Norfolk Southern Corp 21E (Morrisville, PA-Chicago 47th, IL, 9592 C40-9W/Dash-9 leading) leads long train of single cargo containers, so arranged because of their trip across Amtrak's Keystone Line where clearance would not permit doubles, past the former MG tower near Altoona, PA. The train has just crossed Horseshoe Curve. This scene would change dramatically in a few short weeks, as on May 5, 2017, the PRR signals at MG would be removed, including the dwarf in the foreground and the bridge in the background.
