Its around 3am in the middle of know along one of the coolest land locked railroads there is without a sound to be heard besides the wind blowing across the vast openness and the occasional passing car. After a much needed nap and lots of waiting the faint glow of a headlight could be seen slowing getting brighter and soon the soft sounds of the P5 horn of the EA022 could be heard working east towards the mine. More waiting and finally POP we see the 4 E60's slowing and entering the loading loop at the Kayenta load out.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
