Remarks & Notes
As part of Steamtown's Railfest weekend, Fort Wayne Railroad Historical Society brought their Nickel Plate Road steam engine to Steamtown for some excursion trips. Steamtown also did a smart move and brought their Nickel Plate Road steam engine out of the roundhouse. On Saturday morning, number 765 came off a turntable track and headed into the yard, passing its sister engine, number 759. A rare treat having two sister steam locomotives next to each other in this day and age!

The Van Swearingen Brothers standarized freight power for their railroads with nearly identical 2-8-4 Berkshires. Two of these engines are still in excursion service.
