Rio Grande GP40-2 Nos. 3126 and 3121 roll downgrade light engine on the Rocky Spur at Rocky, Colorado, passing an eastbound Union Pacific coal train led by AC4400CW No. 6458 tied down in the siding on February 21, 2002. During this era, two or three former Rio Grande GP40-2s were powering the West Local out of Denver on the Moffat Tunnel Subdivision.
