Mass Coastal Railroad GP9u 2007 crosses the Cohasset Narrows Bridge outside Buzzards Bay, MA with northbound train "MC2" headed from Yarmouth to Rochester, MA. Behind the engine are 4 MassDOT hopper cars. You'll notice the the ballast cars and the bridge, painted in MassDOT blue, are owned by MassDOT. The bridge was replaced in spring/summer 2019 by MassDOT replacing an early 1900s structure installed by the New Haven Railroad, while the ballast cars have been used in various track upgrades along the line.
