A typical train of the FCAB from the copper mines near Calama and Chuquicamata, with flat cars loaded with copper plates and empty sulfuric acid tank cars is running over the Cumbre pass, through the well known horseshoe curve and down to the harbour of Mejillones. Pulling are GL22C # 1452 (former Queensland Government Railway # 1512 from 1968), G12U # 1412 (former EFE Dt 13017 from 1961) and G26C-2 # 2001 (former Western Australia Government Railway WAGR # D 1563 from 1971).
