| Duluth Missabe and Iron Range SD9 167 moving through Proctor Yard August 1968. The 167 was built in April 1959 and rebuilt into SD-M 317 in 1990. Note the vertical yellow stripe in the center of the nose to improve visibility at grade crossings. This started in 1967. The overpass in the photo used to cross the entire Proctor classification yard and was torn down in 1975. James Claflin Photo from my Collection. |
