First test runs of the new 6-car "Flirt 4" from StadlerRail for the BLS on the Thurtal mainline this day, several times between Sulgen and Romanshorn and one time between Sulgen and Frauenfeld. The RABe 528 # 102 is a "Regio Express service" version with a small "Bistro" corner and seat configuration 2 + 1 in first class, totaling 46 first class and 196 second class seats. The train is returning back to the StadlerRail commissioning centre Erlen in the evening of the day. The blue "bls" symbol on the front, introduced in 2005, a combination of the stylized winged wheel of the former Regionalverkehr Mittelland with "bls" for Bern-Lötschberg-Simplon Bahn, is realized in a 3D-version.
