| NS 290, No More: NS 290 was one of a handful of trains axed from the Norfolk Southern schedule in the late 2010s on account of reduced traffic. This particular train was abolished in October of 2018 after seeing a steady reduction in its train size over a number of years. The trailing unit is NS 9136 (C44-9W; rebuilt in March of 2021 into AC44C6M NS 4448). |
