Q642-04 (Avon, IN - Chicago, IL Barr Yard) slowly rolls north through Dolton on the UP Villa Grove Subdivision, with a pair of 1979, ex-Seaboard Coast Line SD40-2 products. With 144 cars and just under 13,000 feet, the train is preparing to make a right hand turn at Dolton Junction for a quick eastbound run to IHB's Gibson Yard to drop off 120 autoracks. Normally routed down the Monon, the Q642 took to former MoPac rails today, where old signals still stand at this location. After yarding the train at Gibson, the pair of SD40-2's ran light to Barr Yard.
