#1000! For my first thousandth uploaded, here's a personal favorite. Going back up to Portland from the Sacramento area, i decided to take the coast instead of the valley to see some of the landlocked equipment of North Coast Rail Authority and the Northwestern Pacific. Here in Willits, CA, the junction between the two lines and the California Western, we see a fenced in collection of equipment. This SP "Cadillac" from the Eugene, OR power stable awaits an uncertain fate. With such a predominate Grateful Dead influence in northern California, the locomotive now adorns the iconic lightening bolt over the SP hood markings. Casey Jones you better watch your speed.
