| It is rather seldom that the "Allegra" railcars ABe 8/12 are in the freight service! But they are with 2800 kW and 8 driven axles very powerful! ABe 8/12 # 3501 is pulling the freight train 5135 from Landquart over the Albula line to Pontresina, just crossing the 95 meter long Albula II viaduct. This is in the most spectacular part of the Albula line between Muot and Preda. You can see the track coming out of the 53 meter long Fuegna tunnel, then the Albula I viaduct, after the 662 meter long Rugnux spiral tunnel the Rugnux viaduct and the Rugnux gallery on the left of the picture. |
