CN MLW S4 switcher no. 8169 looks good in its updated color scheme at Hamilton, ON in September 1981. This would be the third or maybe fourth scheme this engine wore since it arrived on the CN in September 1956, 25 years earlier. Here it is parked with some interesting old CN equipment which appears to be retired, a wood caboose, ice reefer and MOW bunk car.
