| While chasing a northbound train on the former Southern main line, we set up for a shot on a bridge near Covesville, Virginia. We were surprised to hear a rumble from the north, and a high hood SD40-2 from the Southern and two low hoods from the N&W sped into sight with a southbound manifest. |
