| Steamtrain 134 of the Dampfbahn Furka Bergstrecke (DFB) from Oberwald to Realp in the gorge of the Furkareuss near Realp. Pulling is cogwheel locomotive HG 3/4 # 1 "Furkahorn", built 1913 by the SLM Winterthur for the Brig-Furka-Disentis Railway. After the electrification of the Furka-Oberalp Bahn (FO) in 1947 sold to Vietnam. Brought back to Switzerland in 1990 and operational for the DFB since 1993, after revision in Meiningen/Germany. The hole train is in the blue paint scheme of the "early" DFB, as a "unique selling point", a colour that is rarely found on other railways. |
